Caring Children/Clothing Children, also
known as The
4Cs, was founded in 1997 by Pat and John Reynolds of Monarch Country Club who saw a community need among infants to high school age children who, through no fault of their own, could not afford clothing. The Reynolds and their friends worked tirelessly to see that these needs were addressed in a caring way that provides an opportunity for qualified children to gain self esteem by being able to obtain clothing similar to their peers at no cost. The store does not sell items.
The 4Cs has seen a great deal of progress and growth since its inception. In the first two years, it provided clothing to more than 2,000 children. In 2002 the organization moved to its new location and provided over 25,200 outfits to over 4,200 children. In Fiscal year 2007-2008 we had almost 5000 children visit our store.
Our funding and operational expenses are derived from:
-
An annual golf tournament run by volunteers
-

-
